Sand Fall

Sand Fall is a logic game that combines the mechanics of falling blocks with the physics of sand, in which you build continuous bridges of the same color from left to right, and keep the level of sand below the danger line to clear stages.

Sand Fall is a logic game that combines elements of well-known falling block games with unique mechanics of sand physics. You control falling colored blocks and have to pick the right spot before they reach the bottom. However, instead of staying still when it lands, each block collapses into sand and begins to flow downwards under the effect of gravity. The goal of the game changes from simply stacking blocks, to managing the movement of sand across the whole board. Players must form a continuous path of the same color sand from the left edge to the right edge, which will clear the sand and award points.

At the top, there are blocks that fall continually. Players slide blocks left or right to find the best landing spot. The sand takes different forms depending on where you put it.

Blocks break down to sand

When the block lands its original shape is lost. It crumbles down to sand which falls naturally into the play area. Uneven layers of terrain are gradually built up from multicolored sand grains. This mechanic means that the board is always moving, so players have to watch the sand move, not the starting position of the block.

Build color bridges to clear the board

Every falling block increases the volume of sand. If players only build bridges, they may forget about the height of the sand pile. The level of sand can easily reach the danger line. The main way to clear sand is to have a straight line of the same color that stretches from the left edge to the right edge. The color bridge is now finished, connecting the matching sides and freeing up the sand in turn, making more room.

Star System and Level Mode

In the Level Mode, the goal is set by the number of color bridges to be completed. Players must meet certain requirements to beat the level, with performance rated up to three stars. As you complete levels, you may unlock bonus modes and chances to try for high scores.
