How to play Kingdom Puzzles

In Kingdom Puzzles, your task is to place a king in each differently colored "zone" on a playing grid. Sounds simple? The real challenge lies in the strict set of rules that you must follow:

• Each zone can only have one king: Make sure there is no competition for the throne in the same territory.
• Kings cannot be in the same row or column: each king needs to have his own "space," showing independent authority.
• The nearest cells must be empty: This is an important guideline that requires you to measure the distance accurately. No king wants to be flanked by another king!

Kingdom Puzzles Master Tips

Before placing your first king, look at the entire grid and identify areas with fewer options. Small, narrow, or constricted areas with many row/column/adjacent constraints are usually the places where you should place your king first. If a square is off-limits to a king due to a rule, mark it in your mind so you don't make the same mistake again.
