Blankets
Blankets is a relaxed color-matching puzzle game, in which players drop colored tiles into lanes, matching two tiles of the same color to clear the board and open up the play area.
Blankets - A Board Management and Color Matching Puzzle Game
Blankets is a puzzle game that has simple mechanics, but as you progress you’ll need to be increasingly precise and calculating. Squares of different colors fall from the top of the board. The player’s task is to select the right lane to drop the current tile and find and match it with another tile with the same color to remove them from the board.
Blankets Game Play: Color matching for board control
The main mechanic of Blankets is matching two squares of the same color. If a pair of matching tiles appears, they are removed from the board and replaced by new tiles. Players have to figure out where to position themselves so that they can make the right matches each turn.
Keep the board from filling up
The challenge becomes more difficult as the number of tiles on the board increases. If you don’t make matches, the available real estate shrinks fast. When the board gets crowded, the options of where to put tiles are limited. The goal is not just to match colors, but to keep the board open as long as possible.
